The secret is out and the world has seemingly gone twitter mad and that includes the music world too with plenty of musicians taking up micro-blogging to keep us up to date on their latest projects or what they are having for lunch.

The music industry loves a good fad and it seems Twitter is following in the footsteps of Myspace, Last.fm and Facebook as a marketing tool for bands.
